Part Time / Full Time

We're looking for a social media ‘people person’ who is fluent in music technology. Your job would be to help write content and promote our products to our customers wherever they may be. You’ll be scheduling social media posts, answering questions on forums, and creating new and unique content. We all wear many hats at Cherry Audio, so your responsibilities can change and grow over time.

Pay range: $25/hr - $35/hr depending on qualifications. The position includes health benefits, three weeks of paid time off and profit sharing after one year of employment.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of social media content creation

  • Familiar with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Reddit, and other core social media platforms and their related publishing tools

  • Basic graphic design skills

  • Strong English spelling and communication skills

  • Remote work experience and familiarity with remote work tools (Slack, Trello, etc.) preferred

  • Proficient with Google Docs / Sheets or similar programs

  • Proficient with DAWs, audio plugins, music production, basic sound design, and synthesizers

  • Available or overlap from 9am PST - 5pm PST (flexible hours)

Our ideal candidate would:

  • Understand music software and technology enough to be able to write about it

  • Manage forums and social media accounts by interacting with users

  • Direct inquiries to support when needed

  • Craft and/or assist in creating newsletters, blog content

  • Schedule and manage social media postings across different platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) using Hootsuite

  • Help us with strategies to grow our social media user base

  • Create initiatives to branch out to newly relevant social media platforms

  • Be a friendly, outgoing person with a positive frame of mind to engage users. A good sense of humor is a huge plus

  • Create new social media campaigns, post themes, and initiatives for driving brand and product awareness

  • Create monthly reports surrounding post performance, brand awareness, and other relevant statistics

  • Maintain a consistent post voicing and brand aesthetic with already established styles and guides

These qualifications are optional, but would be even better:

  • Familiarity with Hootsuite, Google Analytics, Facebook Analytics/Ads

  • Familiar with Canva

  • Basic graphic design skills

  • Familiar with Adobe or Affinity products (Photo, Designer, Illustrator, Photoshop)

  • Video and image creation and editing for social media platforms

  • Hubspot Certifications for Content Marketing, Digital Marketing, Digital Advertising, Social Media Marketing

  • Familiar with Influencer Marketing strategies

  • Certified with Google Analytics and Facebook Ads

  • Be able to assess and adapt to changes in social media trends across different platforms
