Andrew Macaulay’s Modules Update: Release 6.1a

Release 6.1a of Andrew Macaulay’s Modules is now available and includes one new module plus some changes to the way note octaves are displayed. This update follows last month's 6.1 update that included the new CV Pitch Scaler module, major enhancements to fourteen existing modules, and UI improvements and fixes to many others.

The new and free CV Pitch Octaver in 6.1a is a helper module to make it easy to “normalise” the octaves in different modules, where some expect to be set to 16′ and others to 4′ to output 440Hz at A4 rather than the more normal 8′ setting.

CV Note Display has been updated from an octave display setting based on MIDI0 to an easier to understand (and more typical) setting for Middle C with options for C3 (Yamaha/Steinberg), C4 (default) and C5 (Cakewalk).

The MicroTuning PlusPitch CV ModifierStep Generator and Stretch Tuning modules have all been updated so that the displays and any knob tooltips reflect the C4 as Middle C standard.

All collections have been updated with the enhancements and new modules, and all the new modules are included in the Ultimate Bundle which now has 88 modules in total.
