“I love it, it sounds so good! I turned on the random arpeggiator mode and just started playing with all the faders. Sounds just like my (old) Jupiter! Nice to have it back - the sound is really fat, and having the Space Echo there is a nice touch. I used to spend hours in the pre-MIDI days playing along with the arpeggiator synced to a CR-78 drum machine, and of course I had a Space Echo too!”

“This plug-in is AMAZING! Putting the Space Echo section in was brilliant - it adds so much color and vibe to already amazing sounds. That's usually what I do when I pull up a soft synth - add tape and saturation. It's so great to have it right there and save it as a preset. Beautiful job on the GUI too - it's awesome. Hard to pick a favorite out of all the CA synths, but this one could be my fave! You guys obviously did a great job coding because there's barely a CPU footprint.”

“My very first band back in 1985 had a Jupiter-4, and I've missed it ever since. These days they are virtually unobtanium. I grabbed Mercury-4 at the first opportunity, and it completely exceeded my expectations. Thanks for reuniting me with a long-lost friend!”

“I love it. Fantastic what you did, integrating the Space Echo. What can I say… you have done it again. Thank you once again for building such fantastic instruments!”

“Between 1978 and 1981, the Jupiter 4 was at the center of my rig. With no onboard effects other than the chorus “ensemble”, the RE-201 Space Echo was a vital part of its sound. Cherry Audio have convincingly packaged tributes to both of these classics and I’m transported back to that time. I can instinctively go for signature sounds and find them convincingly produced. I would have traded the original for Mercury-4 in a heartbeat - great job guys!”

“This is such a real recreation - it's so captivating and convincing. I forget it's not the actual physical thing! Totally amazing, sounds just tremendous, looks fabulous, and is a breeze to edit, end of story. This one is extraordinary! Love it!”

“I love this synth! The tape echo and reverb inclusion is genius… getting very Thomas Dolby here. :-) You guys keep putting out virtual instruments that sound like hardware, I mean really sound like hardware! So easy to get lost in this one!”

“The attention to detail is A+. All the little things, from easy resizing to quality browser, to logically placed and welcome enhanced features - these things add up to take strain off the left hemisphere of my brain, allowing me to feel creative rather than frustrated or overwhelmed. Whatever goes into getting that signature Jupiter vibe, Mercury-4 has it. I like how it can be a simple single oscillator synth, but can easily fatten up with Sub, Drift, and Unison Detune. This is my new top option for Jupiter sounds!”

“I’ve started using the Mercury-4 synth while touring and in studio. It allows me to get synth sounds that are more modern with a vintage feel. The stock sounds are absolutely fantastic, the user Interface is very easy to use and has great ways to create the sounds I’m looking for. It’s a major upgrade for me.””

“Though I haven’t spent a lot of time with the original Roland Jupiter-4, based on the sound of the Mercury-4, I now understand its allure - it’s incredibly warm and organic. The MPE support takes the instrument to a whole other level. It was very easy to dial up "Blade Runner" vibes.”
