P-10 Review and Overview from Heiner Kruse (The Green Man, Basswerk)

Jan 22, 2025 | Heiner Kruse a.k.a The Green Man (TGM)

As a companion piece to his recent amazona.de review (Deutsch), musician Heiner Kruse (of The Green Man and the German D&B Basswerk label) reviews the P-10 synthesizer in one of his recent Sound Reports on YouTube. In his video he examines P-10's layers, sequencer (with a chord memory method), aftertouch, and more.

From the amazona.de review:

"Cherry Audio's P-10 is a powerful synthesizer with up to 32 voices (16 per layer) and convincing sound and operation. The latter is also due to detailed representations and well-implemented zoom options. The visual design is quite close to the original. There are many useful extras built in, such as effects and a sequencer, which are not too difficult to learn and are based on the operating concept of the rest of the synthesizer.

The sequencer, which can also be used as a kind of chord memory, and the good effects are worth mentioning. The preset library is easy to use, delivers beautiful sounds and also reprogrammed original presets. The P-10 is particularly impressive when it comes to polyphonic sounds. If you like the P-10, you should also take a look at Cherry Audio's Synth Stack Bundle."
