June Brings Hot New Modules for Voltage Modular

Check out the video demos for some of the latest modules for Voltage Modular. Check out the latest in the Cherry Audio store!

RFM_HJÖL from Request for Music (above) - "The module graphically allows you define the influence of modulation sources for an Operator. Each of the 2 operators exist of a Carrier and Modulator. They can be used to change the timbre of the sound. The level of every modulation source can be 'automated' by the movement of the circles and overlapping of the red dot. Closer to the center of a circle increase the modulation up to the setting of 'Influence'." A tutorial video is also available.

Attractor Oscillator from R_Ware - "Experience the captivating world of chaos and unlock endless sonic exploration with Attractor Oscillator. This groundbreaking module harnesses the power of chaotic attractors to deliver a mesmerizing range of unpredictable sounds. Prepare to embark on a sonic journey! Attractor Oscillator is designed for those who dare to push the boundaries of sound. By harnessing the intricate mathematics of chaotic systems, this module empowers you to venture into uncharted sonic territories, where complexity and unpredictability reign supreme."

ANALOGy5 from Waverley Instruments - "We asked Russell Nash, a Retrowave / Synthwave artist hailing from the Highlands of Scotland: "Can ANALOGy5 do Synthwave?" This is his response."

Disassembling Oscillator from Playertron - "This oscillator breaks its waveforms into quarters and sends them to four independent outputs. Thus, the waveform is turned into smaller building blocks which can be mixed & matched (using multiple units) to assemble new, hybrid waveforms. They can be independently modulated, processed, and amplified for lots of sound design opportunities. The Disassembling Oscillator was designed to modularize the waveform itself, while offering a host of modulation options and processing possibilities for deep exploration."

Curvature, part of the new C Series from Vulpus Labs - "Curvature is a voltage-to-voltage converter which maps an inbound voltage to an outbound voltage along a user-definable and audio rate-modulatable curve, displayed in a helpful oscilloscope. It can be used as an oscillator (when driven by a pure sawtooth wave input signal), a wave folder or a general-purpose control signal mangling tool."

Poly-YAO from Centripidity - "The Poly-YAO takes polyphonic pitch CV signals and feeds them into a collection of oscillators whose fundamental frequency is determined by those pitch CV values. However, a series of harmonic overtones are then added to each oscillator to enhance the timbre. The relative mix of overtones is not static but each has its amplitude modulated to some degree: either via a smooth periodic function or randomly."
