As the Voltage Modular Spring Spectacular continues in April, Rolf Kasten of Rofilm Media is posting new videos for Voltage Modular, focused on third-party modules such as Request For Music's F_SYN and Playertron's Stochastic Sequencer. Rolf recently published "Making Generative Music With Voltage Modular, Vol. 1," a massive 450+ page introduction to creating endless and evolving music with the Voltage Modular platform.
Request For Music's F_SYN is a Voltage Modular rebuild of the late 70s Formant DIY project (above):
Part 1 of my series about the “F_Series”, a bundle of modules forged after the legendary DIY modular synth “Formant” (the 1977/78 Elektor project) in Voltage Modular.
Playertron's Stochastic Note & CV Sequencer is a Voltage Modular sequencer that features "sixteen steps with probability controls to determine whether a note and/or a CV value is activated at the output, meaning you can generate random melodies for days."
My Voltage Modular series continues with a video about Playertron´s “powerhouse” Stochastic Note & CV Sequencer.
