The Ensoniq Sounds of Syntaur - FREE Presets!

In this video, Sam Mims, founder of Syntaur in New Braunfels, TX, shares the story of how Ensoniq and its gear (including the ESQ-1 synthesizer) changed his path and led to his work in sound design and the beginning of Syntaur itself.

In addition, Cherry Audio is introducing Syntaur Sounds for ESQ-1, a new and free collection of Cherry Audio presets featuring the sounds created by Sam back in the 80s for his Syntaur Soundsets line of patch collections.

There were four Soundsets, each with four banks of 10 sounds, and they have been collected for a total of 160 presets compatible with Cherry Audio's ESQ-1 virtual synthesizer instrument. Now, you can add the entire Syntaur Soundsets collection of patches to your Ensoniq ESQ-1 by Cherry Audio at no cost!

Please note that these presets require Ensoniq ESQ-1 by Cherry Audio. Like the factory presets, they do not utilize any of the additional features found in the software version, such as effects and sequences. They are 100% accurate to the original hardware and the original sounds, providing a nostalgic experience and serving as a perfect starting point for you to refine them to your taste.
