The online publication praised Cherry Audio's emulation of the Wasp synthesizer, describing it as "a classy performer with a sound that has an edge, making it perfect for contemporary production while also appealing to anyone who remembers these from their younger years."

The review noted, "If there’s one thing we’ve learned about Cherry Audio, it’s that they love to re-engineer some of the quirkiest and lesser-known devices, doing so in a way that is both creative and classic."
