Mastering the Effects Panel with Mike Martin

Apr 7, 2026 | Cherry Audio

Producer and musician Mike Martin tours the Cherry Audio Effects Panel, the effects tray, and the 20 effects, and demonstrates how to get more from our latest plugins like SH-MAX, Mercury-8, and the new Crumar DS-2.

Starting in 2025 with Trident MkIII, Cherry Audio standardized its approach to effects across its virtual instruments -- including the new Crumar DS-2 -- by introducing the Effects Panel and including 20 studio-quality effects. Each instrument now features a panel with multiple sections that allows users to create and apply multiple customizable effects chains. These chains can be then be saved, recalled and applied in different sections of the instrument, or even across other Cherry Audio instruments that utilize this new system.

In this video, producer and musician Mike Martin tours the effects panel, the effects tray, and the 20 effects, and demonstrates how to use them and get more from the newest plugins.
