Howard Smith of D-N-A in the UK shares a video of his Mercury-8 demo track 'M-8' and a recent video performance at Synthlark Electronica Six in Liverpool (below).
"I was honored to be invited to test this new synth from Cherry Audio, the Mercury-8. A mind blowing version of the old Roland Jupiter 8 synth, but with so many more amazing features, options and effects. As a life long Jupiter owner, user and fan I can say this sounds amazing!
Apart from Logic drums this track is 100% the Cherry Audio Mercury-8 and effects. I used all presets apart from a new bass sound I easily made and saved. I was able to run multiple versions of the Mercury-8 at the same time. And I was particularly impressed that when mixing, all the sounds still cut through the mix, even though they were all coming from the same source."
