Polydata's Sound Bank '79 series continues with Pentaphonic '79, with new presets inspired by the sounds of documentary and library music from the late 70s and early 80s.
Drawing inspiration from the early days of analog synthesizers, Sound Bank ‘79 for the Cherry Audio Pentaphonic synthesizer finds its inspiration in synthesizer music found in documentaries and library music from the late 70’s and early 80’s. A bank comprising 40 patches for instant inspiration. The goal was to squeeze as much vintage analog juice out of this plug-in as possible, highlighting the rich and unique tone of the original Gleeman Pentaphonic, while utilizing the new features of the plug-in, such as velocity and aftertouch. This synth is ultra rare and very unique, and it's great to now have it available as a plug-in.Sound Bank '79 is a series of vintage tones for different synths and plug-ins, so check out the many other releases. Recorded completely dry with no external effects or processing.
